St. Peter’s GAA Band have a few busy weeks ahead of them. On Tuesday night next they compete in the Band Section of Warrenpoint Feis for the Terry Mc Anulty Cup along with three other local bands; Warrenpoint Silver, Abbey Grammar School Brass Ensemble and St. Catherine’s Band, Newry.

Over the next few weeks the band will be practising two day a week in preparation for their concert to celebrate the 40^th Anniversary of the formation of the Band Committee in St. Peter’s GAA Club. The band will be joined by various local artists and the community are invited to attend this historic occasion in Warrenpoint Town Hall on Friday 16^th of March.

The following day, St. Patrick’s Day the Band will play at the now traditional informal concert held in the parish centre following the 11-00 am Mass in St. Peter’s Church.
