There was a very good attendance at the Cardiac Testing sessions hosted by Cumann Pheadair Naofa in St. Peter’s clubrooms on Saturday 10 Sepember 2011 from 11am – 2pm. An organisation called “Healthy Hearts-Healthy Lives” carried out the cardiac testing to look for heart abnormalities for persons between the ages of 14 and 35 inclusive. The test included a medical questionnaire followed by an ECG test to read the activity of the heart. Commenting upon the Cardiac Testing sessions, Club Health and Wellbeing Officer, Katrina Kernan said that she was delighted with the response to the Cardiac Testing sessions. |
