U12 Camogie team set out on saturday morning last at 9.30am to the last blitz in Clonduff, before the beginning of the league in a few weeks.

The sharp winds blew hard as Warrenpoint set on the field for their first match of the day against Ballyholland who came out strong and hard but we helded back nothing and fought back to capture our first win of the day.

Warrenpoint 4-0    Ballyholland 1-0

Game 2 against Ballygalgete proved to be a fight on our hands but with great team work from all the players working togeather proved success again by a winning goal scored by Tara Cunningham, cheers of the field when the final whistle blew but concerns where for their 2 team mates who got injured Hanna Duffy and Shannen McGivern.

After lunch last match to homefield advantage of Clonduff B team.  Charged and refueled they played like the wind backline held tight never letting the slither passed them, midfielders passed to the forward line many times to aid the 2 forwards scoring advantage.  Forwards Jodie Smyth scored 2goals and again Keri McMahon scoring another 3 goals to clinch an all 3 match win for the day

After a fantastic day of team work and skill, the girls played so good, and assisted in the 3 wins, well done to all, but particular to  Shannen McGivern who was player of the day.
