Sunday morning saw a packed St Mark’s field with a tremendous 70 young ladies turning out to participate in Week one of our Gaelic4Girls programme.

This 8 week programme, aimed at increasing participation in Ladies Gaelic Football, is focused on fun and participation allowing girls to get an introduction to Ladies Gaelic Football in a non-competitive environment. Upon completion of the programme, participants will be given the opportunity to join Cumann Pheadair Naofa and become integrated into our existing football teams.

Gaelic4Girls will be held in St Mark’s High School every Sunday from 10-11am. New members (aged 8-12) are still very welcome. Contact Noreen Kelly, Ladies Gaelic Administrator, (07846 392235) for more information.
