Cumann Pheadair Naofa Blues coordinator Larry Byrne has once again put on a fantastic programme of event for the club which saw the hall packed to capacity over the three top class gigs. For the first time the club had a Thursday night gig and the blues legend Rev doc with Burbon Street band put on a fantastic opening night performance of New Orleans Blues and jazz.

Regulars to the club, Backbone Blues Acoustic played in their usual Saturday afternoon gig in the new look clubrooms and as always the place was packed with fans queueing from early for one of the best gigs of the festival. The band, as always, entertained the crowd and had the audience singing and jamming along with them.

The club events concluded on Sunday evening with Rev Doc taking to the stage again, this time on his own for an intimate and soulful performance which saw the hall packed with the true blues fans of the festival up on their feet and swaying along to the music.

Many thanks to co-ordinator Larry Byrne and all the volunteers for the smooth running of the annual event which see lots of visitors come to the club.
