Hard luck to the SENIOR HURLERS who battled out a draw against a very strong Ballycran team. Having lead at once stage by 7 points, they let Ballycran back into the game and both sides missed chances at the end to claim the points. Well done to both teams for a hard hitting game which must have entertained the large crowd which could prove come the end of the season the difference between first and secong place as these two teams currently occupy these positions WARRENPOINT 0-13 BALLYCRAN 1-10

Last sunday saw the first defeat of the league campaign for the U12 FOOTBALLERS going down at ballyholland.Rostrevor at home sun18th may 11am St Marks. Also please note midweek training has been changed to thursday evenings 6.15pm to 7.45pm at St Marks. All are welcome. WARRENPOINT 4-03 BALLYHOLLAND 6-04

The club would like to pass on their condolences to the O Hare family, especially to club members Pat, Eddie and James, on the death of Liam last week. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Due to this the SENIOR HURLING match v Ballyvarley last Tuesday was called off.

FeileChamps08 CONGRATS to the U14 FOOTBALLERS who won the feile on Saturday 3rd May by beating Loughinisland and Shamrocks respectively to take the silverware home.

Congrats to he SENIOR HURLERS who completed their Ulster League campaign with a hard fought win over Gael Camabhainn, from Tyrone, on Saturday. The match was played in Moygannon and was a great spectacle to watch with the score finishing at WARRENPOINT 1-12 GAEL CAMABHAINN 2-06. Next match up is a tough home league match against Ballycran in Moygannon on Tuesday at 19.30

Well done to the MINOR FOOTBALLERS who had a cracking win over Annaclone in the championship WARRENPOINT 5-16 ANNACLONE 2-07.

The SENIOR FOOTBALLERS gained two good wins over Kilclief and Dundrum in recent weeks. Next up is Down patrick in Moygannon on Friday16th May at 19.30.

The RESERVE FOOTBALLERS are away to Loughinisland on Sunday match throwing in at 14.00.

The MINOR HURLERS lost to Carryduff in their Division 1 Promotion Playoff up on a very big Carryduff Pitch. The boys fought hard but were unable to match the strength and depth of the Carryduff squad.

Well done to our U15 HURLERS who won their group, on Saturday past, beating both Clonduff and a fancied strong Shamrocks team, they have now qualified for the finals in two weeks. See Report

Well done to the U10 FOOTBALLERS who beat Ballyholland up in St Marks. See Report Dont forget to come and support the u10 tournament being held in Moygannon on Sunday.

U12 FOOTBALLERS beat a good Clonduff team in their second league match of the season. With the point back line holding very strong as clonduff piled on the pressure to try and get a win, the boys held tight. All credit to the blues. Next up Rostrevor
