On behalf of all the members and people associated with St Peters GAC, we would like to extend our condolences to the O Hare Family after the death of Liam O Hare. Our hearts and thoughts are with his wife and family at these times.

SENIOR HURLERS = ULSTER CHAMPIONS WARRENPOINT 1-11 KILLEAVY 3-03 A massive thank you goes out to the wonderful support which the Senior Hurlers received from all the sections of the club and its supporters. This can only be a sign of the future of the potential within this sleeping giant of a club.

The SENIOR FOOTBALLERS Championship match against Clann na Banna played tonight in Ballyholland turned out to be an epic battle thanks to a spirited second half comeback from the blues. Inspirational performances from Gary Boyle and Johnny Cowan helped Warrenpoint overcome a deficit of seven points at one stage in the second half. WARRENPOINT 2-13 CLANN NA BANNA 3-09 Next match is at home on Monday 25th to Annaclone at 7.00

The SENIOR HURLERS Championship Semi Final against Ballela last night ended up a titanic battle which unfortunately Ballela came out on top. The sizeable crowd was very much appreciated by all those involved with the Senior Team. Lets see you in Ballyholland tonight. See Match Report

Can all the COUNTY U15 & U16 HURLERS note that there is training in Portaferry on Saturday. Bus arrangements are as follows:

Pick up Ulster Bank Warrenpoint 8-00am, Pick up Creamery Banbridge 8-35am, Pick up Library Castlewellan 9-00am, Arrive Portaferry at 10-15am. Training will commence at 10.30.

The U17 COUNTY HURLING tournament has been cancelled. The next outing will be on the 4th October.

The SENIOR HURLERS Championship Semi Final against Ballela tomorrow night Tuesday 19th will be played in Newry. All support is welcome.

The SENIOR FOOTBALLERS Championship match against Clann na Banna will now be played on Wednesday evening in Ballyholland. Throw in is scheduled for 7.00.

Hard Luck goes out to the U14 HURLERS who were well beaten tonight by a strong Liatroim outfit in Milltown. Training continues on every wednesday night in Milltown.

The SENIOR FOOTBALLERS have their biggest match of the season coming up so far this Saturday at 6.00 in Ballyholland. It is their first round championship match against Clann na Banna. Support is expected from all sections of the club and all club supporters, in what is hoped to be a stepping stone to success this year

The U16 HURLING match against Ballycran due to be played tommorow night has been postponed to a later date.

The U14 CAMOGS had a fantastic win over Castlewellan last night in the 1/4 final of the shield. They will no play Ballyholland or Clonduff in the 1/2 final next Saturdau 23rd in Milltown. Time to be arranged.

Can all members please note that Auglisnafin GFC are holding a Golf Classic at Spa Club on Friday 5th September. Anyone wishing to go should contact Joe Scullion(07712881446) or Brendan Quinn(07872315546).
