Cumann Pheadair Naofas Annual Under 12 Tournament was held on Saturday past in memory of the late Kieran Dinsmore.
Teams from Clonduff, An Riocht, Longstone all took part in the day which was blessed with good weather all day. The teams all played each other in 2 x 15 minutes games so it was a feast of football for all teams involved.
There was some fantastic football on display from all sides and it was evident that there is some fantastic talent in Down Football and each club have worked hard to develop its youth. In the end the footballers of An Riocht were the successful team with Clonduff closer runners up.
Football Committee chair Sean O’Hare thanked the Parents, Coaches and Mentors for taking their teams to the tournament and the players for their efforts and thanked the family of Kieran Dinsmore for attending and shared some nice memories of Kieran to those who had attended.
