There are a limited number of spaces available for the Teen Pier Water Safety Awareness Training Project which takes place on Wednesday 22 July at Warrenpoint Pier.

The one day training programme for 12 participants is sponsored by CPN, as part of its Healthy Club Project, and will be delivered by Maurice Rocks, a qualified life guard and course trainer. The target group is: teenagers around age 15 who are regularly swimming at Warrenpoint pier and who have no previous training in water safety. CPN Club members will be prioritized in the allocation of places. The content of the training programme will include: water safety, rescue techniques, water first aid, knowledge of tides and risks and boat traffic.
