Senior Camogs beat Liatroim well

The senior camogs started off against Liatroim determined to win.  Within minutes, Warrenpoint opened the scoring with a great point by Aileen Freer.  Warrenpoint kept good possession in the first half, not allowing the ball past midfield where there was a great display of team work by Cathy Lavery and Catriona Fegan.  With this great play in the middle of the park, this enabled good ball to be played into Stephanie McConville, who was able to convert 4 points, to provide Warrenpoint with a 0-6 to 0-1 half time lead. 
The second half started well with a goal by Aileen Freer, in the first minute, this after battling throughout the first half with a very strong Liatroim goalkeeper.  Joanne Crilly proved to be as good a goalkeeper and with some super saves, she was not going to let Liatroim forwards have it their way.

With further scores from Kerry and Catriona, Warrenpoint went on to prove they were the stronger team. Final score Warrenpoint 3-9 Liatroim 1-3
