As the Feile approaches on the near horizon the under 14 boys have had the distraction of being back in League action with a home match to Clann na Banna, followed by an away fixture to Tullylish.

In a truly end to end and high scoring match played in Milltown, a large home and visiting support witnessed some fine play from both Clann na Banna and Cumann Pheadair Naofa. There were some fantastic individual and team scores and great heart can be taken from the industrious defensive efforts of the young blues who are missing several key players due to injury.

The final score was 12.14 to 9.14 in Warrenpoints favour.

Next up for the U14 boys was a visit to the ever improving facilities of Tullylish, who had not had the best start to their league campaign.

Again no one could question the work rate of the young blues but on a sweltering evening the “injury crisis,” being experienced by this group was evident and that along with the home side, buoyed by a large support finding form meant there would only be one outcome.

The final score was 3.11 to 2.06 in Tullylishs favour. Next up for the U14 boys is a home fixture to Ballyholland.
