Cumann Pheadair Naofa are looking for youth members, boys and girls, who are in 4th and 5th year, to take part in our youth leadership program – Pointer group.
This is a 10 week course, led by SELB youth leader Maureen O’Gorman and will start on Monday 18th Jan, 7-9pm, for 10 weeks in our clubrooms. It will give you the skills and confidence to help out as youth leaders in the club. Young people will learn skills in leadership, effective communication and how to plan and lead an activity. The course will lead to a Level 1 OCN (open college network ) qualification that is excellent for your CV, it is recognised by universities and can be used on your UCCA applications. This will be the third year we have offered this course in Cumann Pheadair Naofa and in previous years our youth members have found it to be good craic ; there is no homework and it finished up in March, well before exam time.
