Match Report 21 June 2011

The Under 14 hurlers were at home to St Pauls Holywood last night in Milltown

On a damp pitch, some good hard hurling was played. Again although the scoreline may suggest differently, there was actually very little margin between the teams.

A couple of high balls sneaked past the defence into the Warrenpoint net and unfortunately for the Blues, they paid dearly for these mistakes.
The North Down side were again physically at an advantage, but the boys in Blue got stuck in and put it up to their Holywood rivals.

The St Paul's boys swung their Hurls, like fellow Holywood man Rory McIlroy swung his golf clubs in Congressional, and ended up winning out on a scoreline of 4-05 to 0-03.

The next game for the Warrenpoint boys is away to table toppers Clonduff, next Friday 1st July at 7.30.
