A confident Droichead Pointe Team fielded earlier today in Mayobridge for the second league match of this season. Despite a sterling performance from a number of players they succumbed, on the day, to a stronger Ballymartin side. The Droichead Pointe girls battled to the final score which was a disappointing 3 – 9 to 6 – 8.
The team have taken much learning from this game and will regroup stronger from this disappointing forfeit when they face Kilcoo on Wednesday evening at 7pm in Milltown. All support for this home fixture would be greatly appreciated!
