The first blitz of the year was at Ballykinler GAC against Ballycran, Carryduff, Ballygalget and Portaferry. Cumann Pheadair Naofa were represented by Eoin Campbell, Jason Duffy, Jamie Lock, Ciaran McMahon, James Nelson and Tiernan O’Reilly. The boys played very well in what was their first Blitz. The blues had a strong defence with Eoin and James who worked well together assisting Jamie in goals and getting the sliotar up the field to Jason in midfield who in turned worked very well with forwards Ciaran and Tiernan although they did not secure a win they proved to be a strong team working together.
