Cumann Pheadair Naofa won the Ulster GAA President’s Club Maith Award at the glittering Black Tie Ulster GAA President’s Awards 2017 Banquet held in the City Hotel, Derry on Friday evening 1 December 2017. Ulster GAA President Michael Hassan presented his Ulster Club Maith Award to Cumann Pheadair Naofa club secretary Anne McCormack, with club officials Daniel Bird, Larry Byrne, Paul McKibben, Brendan Rice and Feargal McCormack also present, among a distinguished guest list, to share in the excitement of the Award announcement.

 

As a result of its Club Maith Platinum accreditation, a club spokesperson stated “St. Peter’s GAA club is driven by a passion to be an exemplar best practice urban GAA club operating at the heart of its local community for whole of family for whole of life”.  The Club Maith process has facilitated the club to be transparent in its planning and operations processes and to ensure that the club’s communications is interwoven through its governance and planning procedures.
